Huge shoutout to our 2024 coaches!
Head Coach-Shannon McKinley. Shannon, a former Orca swimmer herself, has been one of our assistant coaches since 2018. She also took on the role as assistant coach at Ironwood Ridge High School for the 2023 swim season. She has not only been an incredible asset to our coaching staff all of these years, she brings such an incredible and positive energy to the team! We are super excited to have her step into this role!
Assistant Coach- Stefanie Kellogg. Stefanie joined our coaching staff for the 2023 season and is not only a coach, but an Orca parent as well. She was a Division I swimmer herself for 4 years at New Mexico State-Las Cruces where she returned as an assistant coach for 3 years. She did an incredible job coaching last year and we are excited for her return!
Assistant Coach- Colby Parks. Colby will be new to our coaching staff this year, however he is not new to the Orca Family! Colby was an Orca himself for most of his life (14 years)! He volunteered during his teenage years on the team, helping out with our younger swimmers who admiringly looked up to him. He has also taught youth swim lessons and is excited to come back to the team as a coach!
Volunteer Coach-Matt Hough- Matt is a longtime Orca parent and Head Coach for Salpointe High School. He has graciously offered to volunteer some of his time helping out with our 13-18 age group this year. We’re super excited to have him give up some of his time to help out and mentor our older swimmers.
