Huge shoutout to our 2025 coaches!

Head Coach- Kimberly Farr.  Kimberly Farr has been a swim coach in some capacity for over 25 years.  She was an assistant coach, then head coach of the SAAA swim team, Green Hills Swim Team, from 1999-2011.  She has coached high school swim teams at Sahuaro HS in 2007, Cienega HS from 2008-2019 and Mica Mountain High School from 2020-present. Kimberly graduated from the University of Arizona and has her M. Ed in Teaching.  She is currently a science and geography teacher at Mica Mountain. Kimberly embodies the Orca Way in her coaching philosophy and her positive enthusiasm.

Assistant Coach- Stefanie Kellogg.  Stefanie joined our coaching staff for the 2023 season and is not only a coach, but an Orca parent as well.  She was a Division I swimmer herself for 4 years at New Mexico State-Las Cruces where she returned as an assistant coach for 3 years. She did an incredible job coaching last year and we are excited for her return!

Assistant Coach Sierra Hansen. Sierra has previous coaching experience teaching swim lessons from 2016-2021. She was also the head coach of Cienega High School 2020-2022. Sierra graduated from Grand Canyon University with her bachelors in History for Secondary Education and teaches U.S. History at Cienega High School. Sierra is also a former Orcas swimmer from 2008-2012. 

Assistant Coach- Nathaniel Kramer.  Nate will be a new assistant coach for the Orcas this summer.  Nate has been a swim safety instructor for City of Tucson Parks and Recreation from March 2022-present where he was responsible for the safety and learning of new to experienced swimmers, ensuring that they could learn or sharpen their skills in a safe and fun environment. He is currently training and preparing for triathlons. We are excited for him to join our team!
